My interpretation: This is a subtle way of saying: Food shortage and tough times ahead.

When HK was going through a deflation a few years ago, the government printed HK$10 notes, instead of minting more HK$10 coins, to remind us subtly.

For an American president I believe it is more likely meant to present the image that he is not afraid to get his hands dirty.
Obama has been doing what he can to make himself seem like the common man and someone who can relate to others on that level.
Taking care of his little girls, getting a family dog, talking about his favourite sports team, and how he can't live without his blackberry, ect.

Yeah ... but then he went and ordered Grey Pupon mustard on his burger and lost all cred.

So just how shallow IS the US media ... Oh yeah ... it was Fox news.  Faux news

Bush didn't actually DO anything. He was just a front for the Neocons.

Obama is having to actually undo it all.

The gact that the USA is crashing and burning is Bush;s fault.

Have you read his book?  He mentions wanting to order dijon mustard at a restaurant in the south of Illinois and his PR man is giving him a hard time about it saying that he is projecting the wrong image.  I think then the waitress then came up and asked him if he would like dijon mustard on his burger.
