As long as you promise that after you have done it and everyone is raving how there is a statue there you come forward and tell everyone how it is done.

Padre Pio who had the 'stigmata' for all his life was revealed as a fraud after his death when they found out he had a standing order for a type of acid that opened the wounds in his hands and kept them open for most of his life.
Relics generate lots of cash for the church/monastary/nunnery/temple etc. that keeps/owns them.
You would do well to remember that.
