Guangzhou -- Freak rain lashed eastern and southern China in the past few days, causing deaths and massive evacuations.

Six people died and four were missing after rainstorms devastated part of southern Guangdong Province and triggered the biggest river flood in nearly half a century, officials said on Saturday.

From 7 pm Friday to 7 am Saturday, 103 monitoring sites across the province reported precipitation of more than 100 mm, with the heaviest -- 269 mm -- in Duanfen Town, Jiangmen City, the Guangdong Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters said.

How do the Zimbabweans go shopping with cash .

the inflation rate has reached an alarming 100,500 percent, the local currency value is lower than the paper value of the notes.. in the capital Harare ,  a man is holding a stack of banknotes to buy daily necessities. Look at the photos, you would think that he just wins the lottery of  a billion , but unfortunately, he holds the money of which the monetary value is less than the manufacturing cost of the paper. 25 million Zimbabwe dollars is only equivalent to one U.S. dollar.
